Practice Area Overview:

Being suspected of or charged with a criminal offence is stressful. Ensuring that you obtain the advice from an expert criminal lawyer is the first step in reducing the possible impact on your life, your livelihood and your family. Pace & Associates Lawyers prides itself on being Gippsland’s premier private criminal law firm with a commitment to providing the highest quality legal service available.

Criminal cases can be heard as summary hearings or indictable trials. Summary offences are heard before the Magistrates’ Court. Once instructed, our office will obtain your charge sheets, the prosecution brief and advise on the best course of action. How your case then progresses will subject to whether you plead guilty or not guilty. Serious indictable offences commence in the Magistrates’ Court and then proceed to the County or Supreme Courts, either before a jury as a criminal trial, if you plead not guilty, or before a single judge as a plea of guilty.

If you have been charged with a criminal offence or requested by Victoria Police to attend for an interview, contact Pace & Associates Lawyers for high quality advice and representation.
